Meet the Team
I have over 17 year's experience in the Passive Fire Protection industry and have worked on many major projects around the country. My knowledge and expertise are second to none and I have managed projects from the value of £10,000 to £1,000,000. The experience I have gained in the industry have enabled me to acquire a vast amount of certification such as SMSTS, NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection and a Fire Stopping Inspection Diploma with the added mandatory training certification required to work on site. For 14 years, I have worked as an operative and supervisor for some major fire protection companies.
In 2015 I then went on to work as a Contracts Manager, and whilst working in this role I managed many projects around the country where I built up an understanding that communication is key in getting all projects over the finish line. I also managed to build a very strong relationship with all clients, suppliers and contractors some of whom I keep in contact with today. In June 2016, I decided to set up my own company and JM Passive Fire Protection was formed. I have built up a very strong client base and will continue to meet demands of new and old customers. Initially starting off with four sub-contractors the company has grown in strength and now has a mixture of 50 PAYE and sub-contractors employed by myself.
Working within the public sector has enabled me to develop excellent communication skills and whilst working as the managing director within the team it is my duty to promote health and safety to all staff involved with JM Passive Fire Protection. I also pride myself on keeping a close eye on all operatives and working side by side with managers, surveyors and supervisors on site so they all know what is expected in producing high quality and correctly installed work.
I am a highly-motivated individual who enjoys working to succeed and I am now ready to take JM Passive Fire Protection to the next level.
PA of Managing Director
I have over 5 year's experience in the administration sector and 2 year's experience in construction. I have been with JM Passive Fire Protection for nearly six months after moving to Liverpool from New Zealand. My knowledge and skill base are varied and enable me to deal with all situations that are thrown at me. My role at JM Passive Fire Protection is covering all aspects of administration and assisting John whilst he is travelling between sites. I am the main contact in the office and I can assist with most queries. I am excited for the growth of the company and the opportunities that lie ahead with both JM Passive Fire Protection and my new life in Liverpool.
I have been a member of JM Passive Fire Protection since the company began. In this short time, I have been on multiple successful jobs across the Northwest and the Midlands working as both Operative and Supervisor. I ensure all work carried out either by the other Operatives or by myself is completed to the highest of standards whilst maintaining a professional manner throughout.
I am a good team player with great communication and organisation skills, which I earned over my 13 years serving in the British Infantry.
I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge of the Passive Fire Protection industry. To enable me to climb up the ranks whilst passing my knowledge onto others.

I have experience working in administration from my previous role in an accountancy firm. The skills learnt there are transferable to my new role with JM Passive Fire Protection, I am familiar in using ICT packages. I hope to strengthen these skills in my role and gain further skills and knowledge as I grow with the company.
As an office trainee, I aim to be very organised with all aspects of my work and help with all jobs that are given to me.
I am excited for this newly developed role as I am now a part of a growing and well respected company.
